"Thank you for your tape. I enjoy the music and the fact that you have a clearly-Biblical message. It is unique that you use the exact words of scripture for many of you lyrics. Good work. Tell me more about the Band.

"Listen!! I had so many requests for songs from that tape... one of the most unique contemporary Christian music albums that I have ever in my life heard!! I love this recording and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys great music, which is totally Christ centered and scripturally based."

Imagine Jim Morrison getting saved, meeting the Resurrection Band, and speaking Scripture to cool classic rock songs. Introduce Bob Riley and the Fishers, and you no longer have to imagine. This group from Hawaii has done the unusual in Christian music - create music that is unusual.
The tapes are color coded (some are rock; they also do reggae), and I have the blue and green (otherwise known as "Rockin' Holy Scriptures Volume I and II"). While they could use a new title, the music is solid.
Volume I opens with "At the Cross", one of the few that have their own words (most are taken from the NIV bible), followed by a song in Russian. Also on this album is many pieces of scripture, taken from old and new testaments, and "Sing Along Murder Song," an anti-abortion song that appeared on the infamous "In The Land of Milk and Cookies" sampler. Volume II opens with Mother Theresa pleading again for the cause of the unborn, with a wailing guitar to boot. The incredibly catchy "You Can Be Washed" declares God's forgiveness and cleansing from sin, and "Incest in America" rails against child abuse. This album has the ENTIRE book of Galatians on the back side....a feat in itself. If you like classic rock, you should definitely pick this up.
